Jessi Blakley is an accomplished public relations professional with emphasis in media relations and reputation and issues management.

Jessi joined Consensus in January 2005, after nearly three years with the Cable News Network (CNN). Located at CNN’s global headquarters in Atlanta, Jessi handled numerous successful media campaigns centered around major world events, including the War in Iraq, the Shuttle Columbia tragedy, the capture of Saddam Hussein and the 2004 political season.

During her tenure with CNN, Jessi managed media relations for CNN, CNN Headline News and CNN en Español on-air talent, executives and programming initiatives. She also created and maintained the department’s internal Web site and managed CNN’s global speaker’s bureau. Additionally, Jessi served as a newsroom liaison for the network’s executives, where she was able to hone her journalistic skills and gain experience in editing and production.

Jessi currently serves as a Board Member of the Orlando Regional Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, as well as the Orlando Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She is also an active member of the Downtown Orlando Partnership and Leadership Orlando Alumni Association. 

Jessi graduated cum laude from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, and completed a minor in Spanish while studying at the prestigious Salamanca University in Spain.
