Consensus Communications’ Michelle Edwards Receives APR

Orlando, February 10, 2003 – Michelle Edwards, APR, a senior account manager for Consensus Communications, received her Accreditation in Public Relations from the Universal Accreditation Board. She has a successful background in corporate communications and community relations, and formerly served as Director of Communications for the American Red Cross of Central Florida, as well as Community Relations Manager for Florida Hospital. She received her bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Public Relations from Marshall University.

Accreditation is a voluntary certification program offered by the Public Relations Society of America, which signifies extensive knowledge and experience in the Public Relations field. To become Accredited, a public relations professional must work full-time in the public relations field for a minimum of five years and must pass an examination administered by the Public Relations Society of America. Accreditation must be maintained by meeting requirements for continuing education, professionalism, and experience.
