Though normally associated with obtaining one’s drivers license, Consensus Communications 16th birthday is a celebration of years of hard work and dedication, producing and implementing programs to help businesses, government and associations achieve their objectives and shape Florida’s future.
On February 21st, 1995, Tre’ Evers and John Sowinski started Consensus Communications in downtown Orlando, Florida. The idea was simple: bring the battle-tested knowledge gained in high stakes political campaigns to businesses. Political campaigns are brutal because on Election Day you either win or lose. That mentality permeates the work that Consensus conducts on a day to day basis.
For five years, Consensus racked up impressive wins for candidates, statewide referenda and businesses. Then in 2000 the firm brought Roy Reid, APR, CPRC, on board to open Consensus Public Relations, which became the more traditional public relations arm of the business.
Operating with a big firm perspective with an entrepreneurial frame of mind, Consensus offers clients traditional PR services, political consulting and lobbying services.
Since 2000, Consensus Communications has had more number 1 rankings than any other PR firm as designated by the Orlando Business Journal. To view the entire article, Click Here 222.65 Kb . |
